The Gwyn George Partnership, a modern law firm with a progressive and ambitious team of lawyers supported by excellent staff, were involved with Chwarae Teg seven years ago as part of the SME Equality Project

The Partnership offers a flexible environment with a low absenteeism rate and 100% of women return from maternity leave

However, in 2009, Gwyn George felt that the Agile Nation project could help them update and improve their current policies and procedures

How we helped

We worked with the women employees of Gwyn George, supporting them as they undertook ILM accredited training, meanwhile consultancy around their HR policies was also delivered

As a result of our involvement, the firm has given its female employees the opportunity to take part in the Ascent programme, with five having already completed the course

HR Manager, Elaine Lewis, has attended our free workshop for employers and, in addition, we have provided additional support to develop an action plan that gives Gwyn George the necessary guidance to set up flexible working monitoring procedures.
