Celebrating our participants' successes

In September, women on our Ascent Programme - who successfully completed and passed their Level 2 ILM Team Leading Award - attended an awards ceremony to celebrate their achievement at the QED Centre in Treforest

ILM Business Manager for Wales, Pam Heneberry joined the project team in SE Wales to present the certificates and give a talk on the importance of management training

Explaining how ILM qualifications were designed to focus on developing workplace performance, Pam acknowledged that from speaking to the women participants the benefits of the award were already being seen.

The ceremony gave women on the programme an excellent opportunity to catch up with fellow learners and celebrate their achievements. Project staff joined in the celebrations and were on hand to discuss further development opportunities that were available through the Agile Nation Project. Regional Project Manager, Natalie Griffiths hosting the event, said: "It’s great to be here today to celebrate the women’s achievements and to see how the Project has been able to help them learn new skills, build their confidence and help them to fulfil their potential.

"The Project team are now looking forward to continuing their work with the women through the range of additional support the Project is able to offer including ongoing mentoring and development opportunities and topical member’s events to name just a few."

North Wales Awards Ceremony

Celebrating our participants' successes

On October 19th 2010, women on our Ascent Programme - who successfully completed and passed their Level 2 ILM Team Leading Award - attended an awards ceremony to celebrate their achievement at the Deganwy Quay & Spa, In Deganwy
Debbie Bowe hosted the event with millionairess celebrity and hotelier Stephanie Booth as the guest speaker who later presented the ILM certificates and presented on the importance of having personal goals and effective team working

The ceremony gave women on the programme an excellent opportunity to catch up with fellow learners and celebrate their achievements. All were invited to join in a belly dancing taster and The Body Shop and Enjo gave demonstrations on their wares.

Celebrating our participants' successes

An awards events ws held for women successfully achieving ILM level 2 on the Ascent programme in South West Wales

The event was held at the Plas Hyfred Hotel in Narberth; certificates were presented by Lois Poynting,  followed by a buffet. It was a very informal and relaxed event, which provided the opportunity for attendees to discuss their experiences of the Ascent programme and the chance to catch up with fellow learners
