Award successes continue at Chwarae Teg...
Emma Richards receives a National Training Award at a Welsh Assembly Government sponsored event held in Llandudno

Emma, who works as Regional Project Manager for the South East Wales Agile Nation project team, started her career with Chwarae Teg in 2005. As co-ordinator for the Ready Set Go project, Emma encouraged women to gain new skills and return to education. Influenced by this role Emma decided to return to training herself and boost her own career prospects.
These qualifications secured her a secondment as director of the Wales Women's National Coalition in 2008. This in turn helped her become regional project manager delivering a key section of Chwarae Teg's flagship Agile Nation project, which promotes flexible working practices across the Welsh economy.
She said:
"If I hadn't taken action and responsibility for my own development then I wouldn't have been able to advance my career further. I hope I can prove it's never too late to start learning."
The National Training Awards are the UK’s most prestigious awards for training, identifying and celebrating organisations and individuals that have achieved really outstanding business and personal success through investment in training.
