Managing Worklife Balance & Flexible Working Workshop

Work Life Balance

The world of work is changing and more employers are recognising the business benefits of working in new and more flexible ways. Team leaders and managers need new skills to understand and support flexible working within their teams. Whether you are already working in a flexible workplace and want to improve your management techniques, or want to consider ways to improve worklife balance for yourself and your team, then this workshop will be of benefit to you.

Workshop purpose

The workshop provides team leaders and first line managers with the knowledge and personal awareness needed to successfully manage teams in a flexible workplace.

Flexible working and worklife balance will be explored in relation to good people management. The workshop will examine a wide range of flexible working options, demonstrating how flexibility can help meet the needs of customers, organisations and employees.

Participants will understand how to apply the principles of best practice in worklife balance and flexible working, both for themselves and for the teams they lead.

Who should attend?

The workshop is for women participants of the Agile Nation project who have completed the Ascent Programme training and want to continue developing their skills and their ability to manage teams. No previous knowledge of these topics is necessary.
