Helping to make Remote Working work
for your business
3 ways we can help
There are three ways we can help your business to adopt and
benefit from remote working:
1 TechnologyWorking directly with our ICT Project Manager we will help you to identify the technology requirements your business will need when adopting remote working. Importantly our service is impartial and our advice will be based on the specific requirements of your business. |
||
2 Policy and ProcessHaving the right technology for remote working is just part of the solution and our assistance is also available to help you develop the appropriate policies to support the effective use of remote working in your business. These can include: Fair Use IT, IT Security, Data Recovery and Health and Safety. Further advice can also be provided to help with the effective management of remote workers. |
||
3 FinancialThe Agile Nation project is able to provide financial assistance to a small number of businesses and women to help with the implementation and adoption of remote working. Please note this assistance is subject to eligibility criteria, and further information is available from the ICT Project Manager. |
||
When you decide to introduce remote working for your business a number of considerations need to be taken into account to help ensure its successful and effective implementation.
Such considerations include decisions about the most appropriate technology to use and the development of policies to ensure that remote working will work to support the business, in addition to providing highly valued work-life balance benefits for employees.
As part of the Agile Nation project, businesses based in the Convergence area* can have access to expert, impartial support to help implement remote working practices.
