Key areas of activity...
- provide information and guidance on flexible ways of working and their benefits
- assist organisations to map and assess current practices in areas such as: recruitment and retention, employment legislation compliance, equality and diversity
- to assist employers to develop bespoke action plans to implement or improve employment practice with particular reference to flexible working and work life balance for employees
- identify women who can benefit from the Agile Nation Ascent Programme for women
- support innovative approaches to flexible working through an interactive portal and participant gateway
- refer the organisation to further support as appropriate
These activities can be delivered in a number of ways:
- workshops and training courses
- one to one support from a development officer
- pilot programmes with employers
- provision of information and advice
- sharing of good practice
- monitoring and evaluation to assess progress for the employer
