The Responsible Business Awards 2013, Wales Impact Awards, Agile Organisation Award
It’s time for you to celebrate and gain recognition for your success!
We’ve partnered with Business in the Community to create the Agile Organisation Award category as part of the Wales Impact Awards 2013
Entering the awards is an excellent way for your business to gain recognition for your commitment to developing a workplace that embraces equality and diversity, flexible and remote working practices.
This award recognises workplace programmes and initiatives that demonstrate commitment and implementation of equitable and flexible working practices that have resulted in a positive impact on the workforce and the businesses as a whole.
Through this award, Business in the Community seeks to recognise organisations that go above and beyond legal compliance in the areas of equality and diversity to create flexible workplaces and equality of opportunity for all employees.
These organisations will foster an inclusive workplace by bring to life policies and practices to ensure the recruitment, retention and progression of a divers, skilled and flexible workforce.
What is different about the Agile Organisation Award?
Judging for the Agile Organisation Award is unlike the other Wales Impact Awards. It is a two-tier process offering entrants two great opportunities for recognition.
Achieve Exemplar Employer Status, with Chwarae Teg Agile Nation
For this Award, all entrants will be subject to an initial assessment. If your entry is determined by the judges to have reached a good standard and shows implementation of best practice, your organisation will be awarded ‘Exemplar Employer Status’ by Chwarae Teg Agile Nation.
Make the Wales Impact Award Shortlist, with Business in the Community
Entrants who reach higher standards in the initial judging round will also achieve ‘Exemplar Employer Status’ AND make it through to the second round of judging where you may be shortlisted for Business in the Community’s Wales Impact Awards judging round – the winners of which will be announced at the Responsible Business Awards Gala Dinner.
What is Exemplar Employer Status?
This means that you’ve demonstrated exemplar standards in your commitment and implementation of equitable and flexible working practices, and fostered an environment which has resulted in a positive impact on employees and the businesses as a whole.
What is the benefit of having Exemplar Employer Status?
• You will be entitled to use your “Exemplar Employer Status” in your communications and on your website as a sign of commitment. This includes a Chwarae Teg Agile Nation Exemplar Employer logo.
• You may be contacted with the Chwarae Teg team to discuss your working practices and become a ‘case study’ to help other organisations improve.
• Your organisation will be listed on the Chwarae Teg Agile Nation website as an exemplar employer.
‘Exemplar Employer Status’ can currently only be achieved through entering Business in the Community’s Wales Impact Awards in 2013.
Entering the awards is simple, just click here to go directly to the awards section on the Business in the Community website and remember the closing date is 1st March 2013.
